You hear a lot of bad things about Texas and true it has pretty awful food, lots of things that can bite and/or sting you, and has of course produced the worst president ever but you can't argue with this ...
i feel compelled to stand up for texas. well, texas food anyways. um, chicken fried steak anyone? how about tex-mex? um, BBQ? you can't get that stuff up here in the PNW.
glad to hear you had such a fun time. we are headed to galveston for a week on the beach in august. nice to have a preview.
