Snow!

We had our first, and potentially only, snow of the season in Seattle this weekend. It has stayed pretty cold which enabled us to get out and do some sledding today. It also helped prepare us for Christmas in Vermont which we leave for in a few days.

Seattle Marathon

Chris and J ran the Seattle Marathon this past Sunday. We had great marathon weather with lots of clouds, temps in the mid 50's and no rain. After arriving at the start with about three minutes to spare we got off to a pretty fast start. J left Chris in the dust around mile two never to be seen again. Shan, Daniel and our niece Trillium were out in full support mode. A very fun way to end a holiday weekend!

We hit a pumpkin patch out in Redmond today with our friends Lief, Lisa and Monte. It was definitely a cool fall day and lots of fun.

It has just been beautiful in Seattle recently. We had to wait until September for summer apparently. Daniel and I went to Seward park today for a swim in Lake Washington.

The vacation continues

Daniel is still on vacation in Maine. He is getting a break from the rigors of daily life and getting his batteries recharged. Here he is with Grampy going out for a ride on the big boat.
